Key Information

Admissions
The school policy for Admissions has been written to reflect Leicestershire County Council Local Authority guidance. This is reviewed on a yearly basis by the school and the trust.

Academy day
Here at Lady Jane Grey, you will find friendly staff who will welcome you into the school.
At the start of the day a member of staff from your child’s classroom will always be there to greet you on the door and members of the senior leadership team are always outside and available, if you wish to share anything with us.

Attendance
Lady Jane Grey Academy aims to increase the levels of attendance by promoting a positive attitude to attendance and punctuality among pupils and their families.

Safeguarding
Lady Jane Grey Academy staff are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
This culture means we have a Safeguarding Policy, and procedures in place which we refer to below and in the policy section of our website.

SEND
As a school, we have a commitment to inclusive practice, so that all children can be happy, flourish and feel safe. We make sure that all pupils’ individual needs are met. We support all pupils, including those with SEND, to aim high and achieve their full potential.

Our school meals are provided by Coombs Catering. Meals are prepared on-site using quality, wholesome produce and offer good value for £2.50 per day.
