Commando Joes visits Lady Jane Grey

At the end of June, pupils enjoyed an exciting visit from Commando Joe’s, an organisation consisting of former military personnel turned mentors who bring their programme to schools across the UK, with a focus on developing strong character and positive values.

During our action-packed day, children took part in team-building activities, physical challenges, and scenario-based missions, all connected to the Commando Joe’s ethos of character through action.

Not just a physical challenge for the children, it was also designed to develop their mental toughness, cooperation, and emotional resilience.

Parents, carers, and members of the wider school community were invited to share in the excitement and saw first-hand the impact such an experience can have.
